Job summary

Serco is seeking a Material Manager to support Navy amphibious platforms, focusing on material requirements, procurement, tracking, and on-time delivery for availabilities and maintenance.

Must obtain DoW Secret clearance and be a U.S. citizen. Requires a logistics degree (or equivalent) and 5 years Navy/DoD experience with Navy systems and processes. Hybrid work in the National Capital Region is available.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years Navy/DoD material management, logistics, or supply support.
  • Ability to obtain/maintain DoW Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship.
  • Knowledge of Navy logistics systems (R-Supply, N-ERP, OneTouch, WebFLIS) and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze requirements to develop material needs and delivery schedules.
  • Track critical spares, LLTM, and GFM from requisition to installation.
  • Coordinate with NAVSUP, DLA, shipyards, and others to resolve shortages and obsolescence.
  • Maintain real-time visibility of material on order and in transit.
  • Prepare material kits and monitor delivery performance for availability milestones.
  • Produce material readiness metrics and contribute to briefings and reports.
  • Ensure material supports current ship configurations and change control.
  • Perform other logistics tasks in support of PMS 321 modernization.
