Job summary

Moseley Technical Services, Inc. is seeking a Systems Engineer – Infrastructure Hardware to support U.S. Navy Surface Systems in Pittsfield, MA.

You will design, integrate, test, and secure mission-critical computing infrastructure across the systems engineering lifecycle in an Agile DoD environment. Responsibilities include hardware design, security documentation, accreditation support, lab testing, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable infrastructure

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required by Federal Law.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or related field plus 2+ years of experience, or Master’s with 6 months+ experience.
• Experience supporting SDLC activities.
• Knowledge of systems engineering concepts, standards, and methodologies.
• Experience developing system security documentation and supporting accreditation.
• Experience evaluating systems for government security compliance.
• Experience developing or troubleshooting computing hardware/infrastructure.
• Familiarity with requirements management and system modelling tools.
• Ability to create and maintain technical engineering documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support infrastructure hardware for U.S. Navy surface ship platforms.
• Identify and resolve design deficiencies to improve performance and security.
• Develop and maintain system security documentation for accreditation.
• Support accreditation, certification, verification, and validation across the SDLC.
• Develop, configure, test, and troubleshoot computing hardware in lab environments.
• Evaluate systems for compliance with government security requirements and standards.
• Create and maintain engineering documentation for hardware integration and deployment.
• Collaborate with Agile teams to deliver secure, scalable infrastructure solutions.
• Participate in daily stand-ups to resolve challenges and support milestones.
• Contribute to reusable engineering frameworks across programs.
