Position Title: Budget to Authorize Personnel

Location: Pearl Harbor, HI

Duration: Contract through June 2026 with likely extensions

Compensation: $55-81/hour

Must Haves:

• Bachelor's Degree in any related field or 4 years of relevant experience
• Experience with budget-oriented activities supporting DoD, including budget executions, funds distribution, and PPBE

Preferred:

• Navy and/or Fleet specific experience
• System migrations, implementations, and supporting planning and deployment of migrations
• Understanding of DoD systems like STARS, SABRS, Ironclad/CFMS, and knowledge of DoD finance operations
• Experience with Navy ERP, GFEBS/GCSSA, DLA ERP, business process design, or change management

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Supporting a large federal client in San Diego, focusing on customer support, troubleshooting, communication, and end-user support during a financial system migration supporting the Department of the Navy. Tasks include mapping business processes, budget planning, execution, and fund distribution in conjunction with OPTAR management. The role is primarily on-site, with potential for hybrid work after ramp-up. Strong organization, communication, sense of urgency, and interpersonal skills are essential. This is a long-term contract through 2026 with potential extensions, starting around August 19th.
