Job summary

Accelint Holdings LLC, a defense technology company, seeks a Training Specialist to develop and deliver high-fidelity DDG-1000 training for Fleet Sailors and civilian personnel in San Diego. You will apply NAVEDTRA standards and coordinate with engineering and PMS groups to ensure accurate content.

Ideal candidates have Navy Instructor NEC 9502, hands-on shipboard experience, and strong instructional capability. Master Training Specialist preferred; active DoD security clearance required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; degrees preferred.
• 5–10 years Navy engineering in MM, EN, or GSM ratings.
• Experience with DDG-1000 systems highly desirable.
• Prior experience as a Navy instructor or training developer required.
• Experience with simulation-based training or advanced shipboard systems preferred.
• Navy Instructor NEC (9502 or equivalent) required.
• Master Training Specialist (MTS) qualification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of DDG-1000 engineering systems, especially IPS, electrical distribution, and auxiliary systems.
• Active DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain DDG-1000 training materials and curricula.
• Deliver instructor-led, blended, and simulation-based training.
• Apply NAVEDTRA 130/131/132 standards to curriculum development and revisions.
• Conduct Training Task Analysis (TTA) and Learning Objective refinement for DDG-1000 systems.
• Ensure content aligns with baselines, modernization, and PMS 500/339 training governance.
• Provide hands-on instruction using DDG-1000 training systems and IPS simulators.
• Evaluate student performance and provide remediation to ensure mastery.
• Serve as SME for Auxiliary, Electrical, IPS, and Damage Control systems.
