Job summary

AdvantEdge Technology, Inc. in Port Hueneme, CA is seeking a Full Time Associate Technical Applications Specialist to support the DMS Department.

You will provide logistics services for obsolescence of weapon parts for US Navy ships and FMS programs, collaborating with engineers, technicians, logisticians and management. The role requires an Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience, strong Excel skills, ability to research DMS cases, and readiness to travel.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or applicable experience required.
• 1–3 years of applicable experience, or 4–5 years without degree.
• Ability to research DMS cases and provide resolution.
• Experience reviewing DMS Surveys, Inventory Lists, APLs and AELs.
• Proficient with Excel-based inventory spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Support the DMS Department with logistics for obsolescence of weapon parts for US Navy ships and FMS programs.
• Research and evaluate Form, Fit, Function replacements and PSI items.
• Update and maintain inventory spreadsheets for asset tracking.
• Prepare LITR summaries and status reports for internal decision-making.
• Coordinate with vendors for quotes and lead times on mission-critical components.
• Interface with engineers, technicians, logisticians and management to provide status.
