Job summary

Cydecor, Inc. in Arlington, VA seeks a Navy Action Officer (Directed Energy/Railgun) to provide on-site programmatic, technical, requirements, and acquisition support to the OPNAV N96C1 Weapons Branch.

The role focuses on Navy surface warfare weapons, combat systems, directed energy, railgun concepts, and modernization efforts at the Resource Sponsor level. The ideal candidate will have deep Navy surface combatant weapons experience, JCIDS and PPBE expertise, and the ability to brief senior

Qualifications

• Five or more years of hands-on operational functions with policy, requirements, and program guidance.
• Expert JCIDS and PPBE experience.
• Extensive knowledge of fleet AAW/ASuW systems and C2 interfaces.
• Deep understanding of surface combatant weapons and related systems.
• Strong senior-leadership interaction and briefing capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site program requirements management for afloat Navy directed energy systems and related concepts.
• Support analysis, coordination of IPTs, and prepare briefs and reports for senior leadership.
• Assist in developing proposals for budget cycles and integrating new requirements.
• Draft technical documents, MOAs, impact statements, and test/result analyses.
• Participate in acquisition processes including JCIDS and PPBE management.
• Review acquisition strategies, communicate objectives to high-level officials, and defend proposals.
• Support systems engineering studies across lifecycle phases and maintain liaison with leadership.
