Job summary

Booz Allen is seeking a Systems Engineer to support Navy-directed energy programs in Virginia. You will tackle complex technical challenges, translate requirements into actionable architectures, and contribute across the SDLC while collaborating with IPTs and government clients.

Ideal candidates bring MBSE expertise, SE process experience for weapon systems, and a Secret clearance or eligibility. This full-time on-site role offers growth opportunities in directed energy technology and program

Qualifications

5+ years of experience performing SE for weapons systems.
2+ years of MBSE experience with MBSE tools in architecture, requirements, and interfaces.
Experience with concept development, design and development of system architecture, systems hardware, and software.
Experience generating SE requirements for artifacts (SRDs, SSRDs, ICDs).
Experience with risk management and SE certification processes.
Knowledge of configuration management, program protection or cybersecurity, and system safety.

Responsibilities

Deliver products and services to government clients in the directed energy field.
Work on complex technical problems and develop innovative solutions.
Apply SE processes across the system development lifecycle (SDLC).
Participate in IPTs and drive proper SE practices.
Gain experience with Navy ships fielding and directed energy integration.
