The US Navy invites aspiring Civil Engineers to join the Civil Engineer Corps through the Collegiate Program, earning while you study and transitioning to a commissioned officer after graduation.

The program provides hands-on experience in architecture, construction, environmental, water resources, geotechnical, hydraulic, surveying, structural, transportation engineering, and community planning, with opportunities for further education and a path to leadership within Navy projects.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree—preferably in the field of civil, mechanical or electrical engineering
• General qualifications may vary depending upon whether you’re currently serving, whether you’ve served before or whether you’ve never served before.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee construction of everything from runways to docks to buildings of all kinds
• Supervise and manage utilities and other critical services
• Manage a variety of skilled construction workers (Seabees)
• Arrange budgets and schedules
• Approve completed work
