Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Finance Analyst to support NAVSEA in Washington DC. Note: This position is hybrid with approximately 2-3 days a week on site at our SAIC office.

You will develop, implement, and maintain accounting systems, analyze Navy budgets, prepare and justify budget requests, and allocate funds according to priorities. The role includes consolidating budget estimates and providing routine financial reporting to management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience.
• 5+ years Navy budgeting experience preferred.
• Proficient with DoD financial databases (N-ERP, NEPS, MISIL).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• US Citizen with an active Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning and PPBE support for past, present, and future fiscal-year funding.
• Prepare and execute funding documents in ERP systems and track commitments, obligations, and expenditures.
• Produce weekly and monthly financial reports and respond to funding inquiries.
• Coordinate with COR, PM, and PC to facilitate movement of funding and contract funds.
