Job summary

Serco Inc. in Washington, DC seeks an Acquisition Management Specialist to support US Navy acquisition programs, including logistics, maintenance planning, and data management. You will work with government and industry teammates to improve process and deliverables while upholding security and compliance requirements.

The role requires a DoD Secret clearance, US citizenship, a Bachelor's degree, and roughly 5 years of relevant experience, with travel up to 10%.

Ability to conduct program office tasking related to Naval systems and acquisitions.

Responsibilities

Research defense acquisition logistics management instructions and apply them to tasks.
Support annual Task Planning and Allocation Review; prepare briefing materials.
Update briefs, develop presentations, and maintain records management.
Contribute to analysis of action items from meetings, telecoms, or emails.
Draft and coordinate Purchase Requisition drafts and input into system.
Assist in development/review of Acquisition Strategy, Plan, J&A, and SOWs.
Collect, display, and interpret program acquisitions-related data/metrics.
Grow into additional responsibilities and independent tasking.
Perform other duties as assigned.
