Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. seeks a Modeling and Simulation Analyst to support NAVWAR-related DoD missions. You will work on simulations, provide recommendations, and maintain labs and tools while guiding users of simulation models.

Applicants should have a engineering/math/CS degree and 5–10 years of M&S experience with a secret clearance or ability to obtain SCI. Travel to domestic US sites is possible; position is on-site at Kirkland AFB, NM area, with the company offering a competitive benefits

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in engineering, math, computer science or related fields
• 5 to 10 years Related Experience in modeling and simulation
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Secret Clearance with ability to obtain SCI

Responsibilities

• Work with simulations to develop recommendations and maintain labs, facilities, and analysis tools.
• Conduct M&S activities in support of analyses, exercises, wargames, and experiments.
• Provide instruction, oversight and guidance on operation of simulation models.
• May support live, constructive, or virtual training.
• Utilize RF modeling and simulation software to visualize GPS denial in potentially affected areas.
• Proficiency with GIANT, GIANT RPM, Builder, STK, or other modeling and simulation programs.
