Job summary

AeroVironment is seeking a Modeling and Simulation Analyst to support NAVWAR missions at a government site, focusing on PNT-related analyses and battlefield simulations. You will manage simulation tools and provide technical guidance for analyses and exercises.

Ideal candidates hold a STEM degree, 5–10 years in M&S, and an active Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. On-site at Kirkland AFB (Albuquerque area) with travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, math, CS or related field.
• 5 to 10 years of related experience in modeling and simulation.
• Secret clearance with ability to obtain SCI.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Work with simulations to develop recommendations and maintain system integration labs, facilities, and analysis tools.
• Conduct M&S activities in support of analyses, exercises, wargames, and experiments.
• Provide instruction, oversight and guidance on the proper operation and use of simulation models and exercises.
• Support live, constructive, or virtual training.
• Utilize RF modeling and simulation software to manipulate antenna and power models that visualize GPS denial.
• Exhibit proficiency with GIANT, GIANT RPM, Builder, Systems Toolkit (STK) or other modeling and simulation programs.
