Job summary

T2S Solutions in Albuquerque, NM, seeks a Modeling & Simulation Analyst to support the Joint Navigation Warfare Center (JNWC). You will perform baseline M&S analyses and deliver results that inform NAVWAR objectives and PNT superiority for DoD.

Under supervision you will conduct simulations, develop assessments, maintain analysis tools, and provide training on model operations. Familiarity with GIANT, GIANT RPM, Builder, STK is a plus; readiness to work on classified tasks is required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in modeling and simulation, computer science, math or related field; 5 years M&S experience.
  • DoD security clearance required.
  • Good communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • CMSP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform baseline M&S analyses for NAVWAR programs.
  • Access data and conduct all M&S functions, delivering outputs up to SECRET level.
  • Assist in exercises, plans, coordination, demonstrations and instruction across agencies.
  • Develop technical analyses to support recommendations; maintain labs and tools.
  • Support M&S activities for analyses, wargames and experiments; manage data and architecture.
  • Provide training on proper operation of simulation models.
  • May support live, constructive or virtual training.
  • Use RF M&S software (GIANT, GIANT RPM, Builder, STK) to visualize GPS denial areas.

Summary

T2S Solutions is seeking to hire a Modeling & Simulation Analyst in support of the Joint Navigation Warfare Center (JNWC). The JNWC is chartered to enable positioning, navigation and timing (PNT) and NAVWAR superiority to the Department of Defense, Combatant Commanders, Joint Force Commanders, the Coalition and the Interagency. You will be a part of our team’s efforts to empower the Department of Defense’s navigation warfare (NAVWAR) mission ensuring positioning, navigation and timing superiority. Our mission is to provide combatant commanders and joint force commanders with subject matter expertise on planning and conducting NAVWAR by providing knowledge of friendly and enemy NAVWAR Order of Battle and PNT-related successes and threats.

Responsibilities
  • Serves as baseline modeling and simulation analyst
  • Accesses data, conducts all M&S functions and provides deliverables up to the SECRET classification level
  • Under supervision, conducts modeling and simulation functions or operations such as, but not limited to, exercises, plans, coordination, demonstrations, and instruction in the fields such as, but not limited to, health, environmental, transportation, law enforcement, military, and civil agencies
  • Simulation shall include technical analyses and assessments to develop recommendations, and maintain system integration labs, facilities, and analysis tools
  • Conduct M&S activities in support of the analyses, exercises, wargames, and experiments conducted by the Government to include information exchange and coordination for model capabilities, technical standards, interoperability and reuse, model and simulation support planning, model and simulation data and architecture management, configuration management, development and verification, validation, and accreditation
  • Provides instruction on the proper operation and use of simulation models and exercises
  • May support live, constructive, or virtual training
  • Utilizes RF modeling and simulation software to manipulate antenna and power models that visualize GPS denial in potentially affected areas. Modeling software includes: GIANT, GIANT RPM, Builder, Systems Toolkit (STK), and other modeling and simulation programs as needed
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in modeling and simulation, computer science, math or other related field and 5 years of related M&S experience
  • Current DoD issued Security Clearance
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
  • Apprentice Certified Modeling & Simulation Professional (CMSP) or equivalent
  • Ability to work independently with limited government oversight and function effectively as part of a team in a joint working environment
