Job summary

V2X in Marlton, NJ seeks NavMPS FSR Ship Rider interns to deploy on US Naval vessels and train to support mission planning systems. You will train as Fleet Support Representative for afloat NavMPS, enabling ship network connectivity, user training, and daily system updates.

As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience, while complying with DoD procedures, DoD 8570.01 guidelines, and security requirements for government programs.

Qualifications

• Security+ CE certification required.
• Active Secret Clearance; TS/SCI eligible.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• DoD 8570.01 certification within three months of start date.
• Minimum 6 years of direct IT experience.
• Must be able to pass DoD medical screening for at-sea duty.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between PMA-281 and the Fleet NavMPS user as an embedded member of the Carrier Airwing Staff
• Provide NavMPS admin/database training for all NavMPS users
• Maintain visibility with all NavMPS users to enable rapid issue resolution and training
• Provide cross-platform training and guidance to team members
• Install and configure NavMPS software on NavMPS assets
• Prepare deployable equipment packages for remote connection and operation
