Job summary

General Robotics, an AI research and deployment company, seeks a Robotics Engineer focused on navigation to advance robot intelligence across aerial, wheeled, humanoid, and other platforms.

You will work on robotics algorithms, SLAM, computer vision, and foundation models, leveraging high-fidelity simulators and scalable training pipelines while contributing to publications and open source efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Research experience in ML, robotics, and CV.
• Experience developing robotics algorithms or ML models at scale.
• Python/C++ programming; familiarity with PyTorch or Jax.
• Must have work authorization in the US.

Responsibilities

• Design methods, tools, and infrastructure to advance robotics and foundation models.
• Define research goals informed by practical engineering concerns.
• Adapt ML models for robotics applications (CV, SLAM, navigation).
• Work with high fidelity simulation platforms for synthetic data generation.
• Design data loading and training pipelines for large-scale foundation model training.
• Contribute to experiments, code, evaluations, and results.
• Contribute to publications and open-source efforts.
