Job summary

STRATEGIC WEAPONS FACILITY PACIFIC (SWFPAC) in Bangor, WA seeks a Logistics Management Specialist within the Technical Department to plan and execute calibration exchange events with SSBN/SSGN boats.

You will assess deployment scenarios, manage Exchange Pool TMDE inventory, and coordinate RADIAC services while ensuring security clearance, travel readiness, and compliance with DoD procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen.
• Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
• Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

• Duty requires DoD security clearance eligibility.
• Travel to CONUS/OCONUS and remote sites may be required.
• Must have a current valid US driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, direct, and execute calibration exchange events with SSBN/SSGN boats.
• Evaluate patrol/deployment scenarios and determine Exchange Pool requirements.
• Conduct scheduled TMDE exchanges and support during refits or deployments.
• Maintain custody control and accountability for government-owned equipment.
• Analyze exchange processes and implement improvements for efficiency.
• Manage Exchange Pool test equipment inventory using data tools.
• Coordinate RADIAC allowances and calibration services for SWFPAC.
• Develop internal procedures for acquisition, storage, and disposal of Exchange Pool TMDE.
