Job summary

Sabre Systems, LLC is seeking a Software Test Automation Engineer to advance automated testing for U.S. Navy aircraft systems at Patuxent River Naval Air Station in Southern Maryland.

You’ll automate API tests, build robust test environments, and collaborate with software engineers to improve automation and reliability. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in Java with Maven, experience in Robot Framework or Selenium, and are eligible for a DoD security clearance.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Systems Information Management, Electrical Engineering or Mathematics.
• 3+ years of software experience developing in Java and using Maven.
• Experience with developing test scenarios for automated testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Robot Framework, Selenium).

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of computer science concepts to develop automated solutions for data acquisition and management problems.
• Preparation, conduction, and automation of API tests.
• Improve and maintain testing environments for automation.
• Create documentation and report bugs.
• Communicate with software engineers regarding design approaches.
• Suggest and implement ideas to improve automation infrastructure.
• Participate in SDLC activities including requirements, design, development, integration, and test.
