Job summary

The U.S. Department of the Navy is seeking an engineer to review waivers and deviations from contract requirements, including drawings and operating parameters for submarine parts procurements.

You will perform data reviews, validate technical manuals, and prepare written reports while coordinating with OEMs and stakeholders. This is a permanent, full-time role requiring US citizenship and clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

• One year of specialized experience in reviewing engineering data, drawings, and manuals to resolve procurement and design issues.

Responsibilities

• Review waivers and deviation requests from contract requirements and specifications, including engineering drawing sets.
• Perform comprehensive reviews of engineering data sets to ensure completeness and accuracy of technical deliverables.
• Prepare written reports and present findings to stakeholders; coordinate with OEMs and technical experts.

Engineering degree (ABET-accredited)
