Job summary

PCI Government Services is seeking a skilled Systems Administrator for a traveling assignment based out of San Diego, CA, with 50–75% travel to Navy CANES locations. You will install, maintain, and troubleshoot system software and hardware while complying with Navy procedures and reporting requirements.

The role requires a Secret clearance (Top Secret preferred), 3+ years of navy IT experience, and experience with programming and Microsoft development tools.

Qualifications

• Secret clearance required; Top Secret preferred.
• 3+ years of experience with CANES networks and afloat software installation.
• Navy Information Systems Technician or Data Systems Technician experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language and Microsoft development tools.
• IAM-II baseline security certification (Security+) required.

Responsibilities

• Install, update, troubleshoot, monitor and maintain systems/servers and configurations.
• Install and maintain application software per standards.
• Verify functional operation of HICS per SOVT.
• Test and maintain hardware availability and integrity.
• Troubleshoot hardware/software interface and interoperability problems.
• Perform periodic system maintenance and data backups.
• Deploy HICS tasks/services to CANES sites and coordinate with points of contact.
• Develop and document HICS administration SOPs and ensure compliance.
