ESR Healthcare seeks a Naval Subject Matter Expert (Cleared) to deliver expert analysis on naval operations and doctrine for high-level Navy planning and decision-making. The role requires deep experience in intelligence or defense environments and the ability to brief senior leadership.

The position is remote as a contractor, with duties spanning cross-stakeholder coordination and handling classified materials under TS/SCI provisions. Prior clearance and strong writing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in U.S. Navy, MARAD/DOT, or similar maritime/defense roles.
• Active TS/SCI clearance strongly preferred; at minimum Secret clearance within last 24 months.
• Experience briefing and writing for executive or flag-level leadership in defense/government contexts.
• Familiarity with Pentagon processes, OPNAV/NAVSEA/PEO environments, cross-stakeholder coordination.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver expert analysis on naval operations, platforms, and doctrine.
• Assess and synthesize classified and unclassified data to support Navy planning and requirements.
• Draft concise, actionable written assessments and prepare high-level briefings for senior leaders.
• Coordinate across Navy, DoD, Intelligence Community, and industry stakeholders for alignment with mission goals.
• Interpret and communicate recent naval capabilities and maritime security developments relevant to objectives.
• Safeguard and handle TS/SCI materials per project protocols.
