Job summary
Precise Systems is seeking a Naval Structures Engineer Level II to support inspection efforts for NSWCCD. This in-person role involves designing and analyzing naval ship structures, documenting results, and ensuring compliance with naval design guidance. A ABET-accredited engineering degree and two years of relevant experience are required, with a Secret clearance possible and U.S.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university.
- Two years of relevant experience evaluating structures.
- Ability to perform closed-form structural calculations, drawing reviews, and failure assessments.
- Familiar with naval structures such as ships and submarines.
Responsibilities
- Conduct structural design, modification, and analysis of naval and commercial ship platforms.
- Provide results and summary documentation of technical work.
- Design, assess, and analyze ship structural members against loads and safety criteria.
- Evaluate advanced/ special structural members including arctic vessels and unmanned craft.
