Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from ABET-accredited program.
  • Master’s degree with no required professional experience.
  • U.S. citizenship required and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Structural system design, integration, and testing for submarine/carrier hulls and supports.
  • Perform detailed structural analysis, stress evaluation, and load-path verification.
  • Support shipboard structural modifications and corrosion evaluation/mitigation.
  • Develop, review, and execute structural procedures and certification documentation.
  • Assist ship construction and outfitting by evaluating non-conformances and repairs.
  • Conduct shipchecks to confirm as-built conditions and design compliance.
