Job summary

ICI Services Corporation seeks aStructural Engineer to support the PMS 300 Program Office in Washington, DC. You will work with government stakeholders, shipyards, naval architects, and multidisciplinary teams to develop requirements, integrate systems, and perform analyses including FEA for ship design products.

The role involves design reviews, documentation preparation, and supporting modernization efforts to enhance fleet readiness while leveraging our employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience supporting DoD, Navy, or federal government programs.
• Knowledge of systems engineering principles, requirements management, and technical documentation development.
• Experience supporting acquisition, sustainment, modernization, or integration efforts for military systems.

Responsibilities

• Support development, design, integration, and production-level engineering of ship design products per Government System Specification and ABS requirements.
• Develop structural calculations and drawings with details, loads and methodology per contract requirements.
• Conduct structural analysis (e.g., FEA) and optimize hull weights with cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate with government stakeholders, program offices, shipyards, and technical teams.
• Participate in design reviews and system assessments; improve shipbuilding processes.
