Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering/science/technical discipline or 4 years of relevant experience.
• Six years of DoW major weapon systems engineering experience with architecture and requirements work.
• Two years of concurrent Navy surface/submarine weapons experience.
• Six years of full-time systems engineering with system-level responsibilities.
• Active SECRET U.S. Government Clearance; U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise with development, integration, and management of naval surface weapons systems.
• Create system design and integration documents for weapons control and surface combat systems.
• Design and implement security engineering measures to prevent unauthorized access.
• Integrate hardware and software protection into major weapons and fire control systems.
• Develop Program Protection Plans and related security documentation.
• Perform requirements derivation and management for weapon control interfaces.
• Coordinate impacts of proposed changes with internal and external stakeholders.
