Job summary

Noblis MSD is hiring a Mechanical Engineer to support NAVSEA/NSWCPD and Navy ship programs, focusing on oil pollution abatement in wastewater systems. You will design, analyze, test, and maintain mechanical equipment for military and civilian applications while ensuring compliance with shipboard standards.

The role involves developing drawings, performing calculations, prototyping, and updating technical manuals; on-call PT hours apply, and security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Marine, or Electrical Engineering with 5 years of relevant experience.
• U.S. citizen with active DoD SECRET clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Experience with mechanical/electrical system design, repair, installation, modification, operation, maintenance and testing.
• Proficiency with 2D/3D design and manufacturing tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor).
• Experience reviewing models/drawings for manufacturability; documentation development including drawings and BOM.
• Familiarity with military specifications for technical design.
