Johnson Controls Navy Systems is seeking a Journeyman HVAC Chiller Mechanic for our Norfolk location. The role focuses on shipboard HVAC/R equipment and control systems for U.S. Navy and Coast Guard vessels.

Responsibilities include maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of critical chillers and associated systems, with a need for U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain government clearances. This is an onsite, union position.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of commercial and/or industrial HVAC experience with mechanical troubleshooting and service experience.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain required government clearances and other worksite badges.

Responsabilidades

• Maintenance and service of Chilled Water Air Conditioning Plants, Refrigeration Systems and other large equipment for U.S. Navy and U.S. Coast Guard vessels.
• Inspect, diagnose, service and repair mechanical systems using a variety of tools and instruments.
• Perform preventive maintenance including belt adjustments, oiling, greasing and cleaning of equipment.
• Respond to service and warranty calls.
