Job summary

DT Professional Services is seeking a Satellite Communications Technician to support NSWC in Corona, CA. You will work with Ku Band engineers and IT technicians to install, configure, test, and implement advanced antenna, RF, digital, and micro-electronic systems.

Expect 50%+ travel to Navy ships and other locations, with independent and collaborative work across teams. A DoD Secret clearance is required, along with basic computer and electronics skills and at least 1 year of networking

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance required or ability to obtain.
• Minimum 1 year of networking experience.
• Basic computer and electronics skills.
• Ability to travel 50%+ annually, including Navy ships.
• Experience with satellite communications RF hardware and deployment.

Responsibilities

• Install, operate, maintain and repair satellite terminals and antennas.
• Configure, test, and perform maintenance on satellite comms equipment.
• Assist in network operations and data processing tasks.
• Ensure backup equipment and spare parts availability to sustain operations.
• Provide technical support and customer communication.
