Job summary

VSolvit is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Corona Division in Norco, California. The Systems Engineer will analyze complex Navy systems using RM&A methodologies to evaluate operational readiness and support engineering decision making.

The successful candidate will develop reliability models, assess system performance, and integrate engineering data from multiple sources to provide recommendations that improve Navy platform readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
• 3-6 years of systems or reliability engineering experience or equivalent Navy experience.
• Experience analyzing engineering data and technical systems.
• U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.
• Ability to work on-site in Norco, CA.

Responsibilities

• Analyze engineering databases to determine RM&A metrics.
• Evaluate single systems and systems-of-systems readiness.
• Integrate failure, maintenance, and operational data from multiple sources.
• Develop reliability models and scoring methodologies.
• Research Navy systems and develop assessment criteria.
• Perform statistical and trend analysis.
• Support engineering reviews and customer briefings.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
