Job summary

VSolvit is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center Corona Division in Norco, CA. The Systems Engineer will analyze complex Navy systems using RM&A methodologies to evaluate operational readiness and support engineering decision making.

The successful candidate will develop reliability models, assess system performance, and integrate engineering data from multiple sources to improve system readiness across Navy platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline required.
• 3-6 years of systems or reliability engineering experience or equivalent Navy experience.
• Experience analyzing engineering data and technical systems.
• Ability to obtain DoD Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Analyze RM&A metrics across multiple engineering databases.
• Evaluate readiness of single systems and systems-of-systems.
• Integrate failure, maintenance, and operational data from multiple sources.
• Develop reliability models and scoring methodologies.
• Produce technical documentation and engineering recommendations.
• Support engineering reviews and customer briefings.
• Collaborate with Navy stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
