Job summary

Qualifications

• BA/BS in related field or AA/AS plus two years’ directly related experience, or six years’ directly related experience.
• Must be familiar with working in a naval shipyard environment and able to work aboard marine vessels, climb ladders, work in tanks and confined spaces, and wear PPE.
• Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Must be able to read drawings, blueprints, standard items, and specifications of work items.
• Must have working knowledge of NMD Planning and Execution Modules.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Ship-Checks as required.
• Integrate, review and validate planning process with primary parties and government affiliations weekly to ensure compliance.
• Prepare advanced planning reports for dissemination to government for processing.
• Conduct meetings to inform key personnel of planning updates.
• Work closely with Estimators to ensure all information is represented to produce an integrated planning schedule.
• Other duties as assigned.
