Job summary

Naval Nuclear Laboratory's Training & Simulation (NTS) department seeks a training curriculum engineer to work in the Nuclear Operations Training (NOT) unit. The NOT unit maintains NNPTP compliance and revisions to training manuals and qualification requirements across multiple sites.

You will interface with NN L, NRHQ, and Navy personnel, helping verify training programs, staff projections, and student allocation while supporting unbiased program validation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical, engineering or science field with 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Master's degree in a related technical, engineering or science field with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Doctorate degree in a related field with 1+ year of relevant experience.
• Currently a Senior Reactor Training Engineer, Refueling Engineer, or Field (RPCO) Engineer at the Company.

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance requirements for the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Training Program and revisions to training manuals.
• Provide unbiased verification of and compliance with training program requirements and vision.
• Interface with NN L, NRHQ, and Navy personnel dedicated to training of Naval Nuclear Operators.
