Serco is seeking a Military Marine Systems Engineer to provide engineering, technical, and analytical support for DDG 1000 shipboard HM&E systems and other U.S. Navy surface ships. You will work with Navy stakeholders to ensure fleet readiness and safety of sailors.

The role requires an active DoW Secret clearance, a relevant technical degree, and ability to travel up to 10%. You will collaborate with a wide network of Navy and Serco subject matter experts across lifecycle management,

Competenze

• Active DoW Secret security clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of relevant work experience, or High School + 4 years on DDG 1000 class.
• Knowledge of U.S. Navy DDG 1000 electrical shipboard principles.
• Experience as Work Center Supervisor onboard U.S. Naval ship.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Mansioni

• Provide engineering, technical, and analytical support for DDG 1000 shipboard HM&E systems and related Navy surface ships.
• Analyze equipment failures, casualty reports, and maintenance actions; develop findings and corrective actions.
• Perform lifecycle engineering assessments, sustainment, configuration management, and modernization considerations.
• Review and support development of installation drawings, analyses, and standard procedures.
• Draft, coordinate, and support Naval Advisory Messages for fleet issues and safety concerns.
• Develop readiness tracking products using Excel and PowerPoint for ship class analysis.
• Extract and analyze operational data from Navy sources to support decision making.
• Coordinate with Navy and contractor stakeholders to resolve HM&E system issues.
