Job summary

Synectic Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Logistics Engineer, Journeyman to support the NSG PSMI Department in logistics and in-service support for weapon systems and related equipment. You will independently perform engineering and logistics tasks, supporting government customers and sub-contractors.

You will review data, assist with test setups, and help manage design changes, documentation, and configuration practices in a high-security environment. A DoD clearance and citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and active DoD Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Six years of relevant work can substitute for a Bachelor's degree.
• 3–10 years in engineering or logistics roles; Naval weapon systems experience preferred.
• Ability to perform standard engineering and logistics analysis and test-support tasks.

Responsibilities

• Review engineering data and update schematics, drawings, specifications, and parts lists.
• Set up and perform tests; record results and prepare reports.
• Support R&D projects, prototype development, testing, and redesigns.
• Design and coordinate test setups; evaluate concepts by performance, cost, and requirements.
• Assist with logistics planning; review requirements and maintain data databases.
• Review and disposition ECPs, ECOs, NORs, and SCNs per policy.
• Participate in SETRs and audits; document findings and propose corrective actions.
