Job summary

HII Mission Technologies is seeking a Mid-Level Engineer Logistics 3 in the United States to support New Construction CVN Material History tasking and Planned Maintenance System work. You will contribute to data capture and analysis for AMHCD and coordinate with Navy and shipyard teams.

The role requires hands-on experience with Navy PMS practices, NSTMs, and related maintenance data, with a focus on ensuring readiness and reliability of maritime systems.

Qualifications

Experience with US Navy Planned Maintenance System practices and procedures in a shipboard environment.
Ability to read technical data, blueprints and manuals with attention to detail.
Experience with PMSMIS, PMS Management Information System is a plus.
Must be able to obtain and maintain base/ships access and a CONFIDENTIAL clearance.

Responsibilities

Perform Ship Checks and capture data for AMHCD development.
Use photography to collect nameplate data and transcribe into Excel for AMHCD records.
Establish calibration requirements for field systems/equipment and maintenance tasks.
Develop maintenance engineering and logistics products (FMEA, LORA).
Engage with US Navy and Shipyard customers in meetings to discuss work.
Support PMS projects including Equipment Maintenance Page authoring and revision.

Education

Bachelor's degree in related field

Master's degree in related field

PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field
