Job summary

PMAT seeks an experienced System Administrator II to support Navy enterprise IT environments across NIPR, SIPR, and Coalition networks. You will deliver end-user support, patching, and security tasks while coordinating with NAVWAR IT Operations and other teams.

The role emphasizes hands-on system administration, incident response, and documentation in a fast-moving defense environment. On-site in San Diego, 100% on-site work. U.S. citizenship and SECRET clearance required.

Qualifications

• Experience with NMCI NET/NEST and NIS to manage account roles.
• Familiarity with NAVWAR IT Ops, Field Services, and Network Services for Navy accounts.
• Knowledge of SAAR-N and CMAR Info Assurance compliance.
• Some helpdesk or IT support experience in fast-moving environments.
• Basic Windows workstation troubleshooting and AD concepts.
• Experience with ticketing systems and service desk workflows.

Responsibilities

• Provide helpdesk and end-user support, document resolutions, and escalate when needed.
• Troubleshoot workstations, laptops, peripherals, printers, and software.
• Assist with user account administration, access requests, and password resets.
• Manage and close support tickets with clear user issue records.
• Assist with patching, endpoint configuration, and inventory tracking.
• Support cybersecurity tasks, vulnerability remediation, and secure configurations.
• Coordinate with teams to resolve issues and communicate status.
• Maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
