Job summary

Lockheed Martin – Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) in Owego, NY, is seeking an Engineering Planner to support Naval Helicopter programs. You will help plan and execute programs, develop schedules, and manage resources across engineering, planning, and operations teams.

You will collect metrics, track staffing plans, and contribute to Earned Value Management processes while coordinating with customers and technical leads.

Qualifications

• Experience with budget planning and tracking, financial analysis, and schedule management.
• Intermediate skills with Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Associates Degree from accredited college.
• Certified Lockheed Martin CAM with Earned Value Management; experience with PM Compass and Cobra.
• Workload management experience with LM Vemo Planning and Analytics tool.
• Familiarity with Lockheed Martin engineering process.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
• Ability to create effective working relationships across organizations and program teams.

Responsibilities

• Collect metrics for accuracy with technical leads, program managers, and engineering program managers.
• Collect and evaluate workload reports to support staffing projections.
• Track weekly actuals against monthly staffing plans.
• Support Earned Value Management, Work Package Management, and Control Account Management.
• Develop Integrated Master Schedule and manage schedule status.
• Prepare and coordinate plans and schedules for programs.
• Determine, monitor, and review costs, budgets, schedules, and manpower requirements.
• Support negotiations with customers.
