Precise Systems, Inc. in Bethesda, MD is seeking an Acquisition Manager to drive technical engagement and opportunity development for Carderock. The role requires naval/marine engineering expertise and the ability to convey Carderock's capabilities to government and industry partners.

You will identify external opportunities, coordinate with internal experts, and manage relationships across Navy, DoD, labs, and contractors to advance external laboratory utilization and long‑term collaborations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in naval/marine engineering or related discipline.
• Experience applying engineering knowledge to research, testing, design, or evaluation of naval/marine systems.
• Experience communicating technical concepts to engineers, government customers, or industry stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Navy/DoD environments.

Responsabilités

• Identify and develop opportunities for external use of Carderock capabilities.
• Engage external customers including government, industry, and academia.
• Discover engineering requirements and align capabilities accordingly.
• Coordinate with internal experts to assess technical suitability.
• Present Carderock capabilities in technically appropriate terms.
• Build a network across Navy, DoD, labs, and industry.
• Track opportunities and report progress.
