Job summary

Noblis MSD is seeking an Entry Level Electrical Engineer to contribute to the development, integration, updates and repairs of electrical components in a Navy environment. The role offers hands-on mentorship from senior engineers and exposure to defense programs in a fast-paced setting.

The position focuses on designing, analyzing, and integrating electrical systems, including power supplies, analog/digital circuits, and ATE components, with opportunities for professional growth and security

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (preferred) OR Associate's Degree + 3 years of relevant experience OR High School + 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to interact directly with customers to extract requirements, generate a plan and report status.
  • Familiarity with System Engineering concepts.
  • Able to work independently and interact with government and military active-duty personnel in design and support of system components.
  • Familiarity in designing and troubleshooting electrical systems.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment while completing tasks unsupervised.
  • Must have a Secret clearance OR the ability to obtain one.
  • Must be a US Citizen.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design and development of electrical systems and components for Navy systems.
  • Perform circuit design, modeling, and simulation to ensure system performance and reliability.
  • Create and review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, system engineers, and program managers.
  • Support prototype development or production unit builds, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
  • Contribute to design reviews, technical presentations, and project status updates.
