Job summary

Noblis in Philadelphia is seeking an entry-level System Engineer to support Machinery Control Systems on Navy destroyers, including shipboard and land-based engineering sites. The role spans four variants across technologies, with duties from testing to design input and installation support.

Candidates should have a BS in Electrical Engineering or related field, 0–3 years of experience, US citizenship for clearance, and travel 10–20%. Remote/hybrid status may change with requirements.

Qualifications

  • BS in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 0–3 years in control systems in an industrial environment.
  • US Citizen with ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
  • Must have a valid US passport or ability to obtain one.
  • Ability to travel 10–20% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot complex problems across variants of fielded systems LBES and shipboard.
  • Review technical documentation for current and future fielded systems.
  • Provide test support for all fielded system variants at LBES.
  • Provide shipboard SW & HW installation support for all variants.
  • Contribute design input for future MCS systems.
  • Develop test procedures to exercise fielded and future requirements.
  • Provide integration design support for equipment in shipboard/industrial environments.
