• Coordinates with other organizations affected by design development and checks drawings for clarity and accuracy.
• Acts as liaison between yard and Weight Control to estimate, track, and manage weight within design limits.
• Investigates factors like manufacturability, material availability, interchangeability, and contractual spec requirements.
