Job summary

YO AI Labs is seeking an experienced Naval Subject Matter Expert to support AI training and evaluation projects remotely. You will apply operational, programmatic, or intelligence expertise to deliver rigorous analysis and actionable insights.

Responsibilities include analyzing naval operations, coordinating with defense stakeholders, and briefing leadership. Clearances and experience in secure environments are advantageous.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in the U.S. Navy, maritime, or defense sector.
• Active TS/SCI clearance preferred; Secret clearance with TS/SCI eligibility may be considered.
• Experience briefing senior military or government leadership.
• Familiarity with Pentagon, OPNAV, NAVSEA, or PEO environments.
• Intelligence or Intelligence Community experience is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert analysis of naval operations, platforms, and doctrine.
• Assess operational and program data to develop informed recommendations.
• Prepare concise assessments and leadership-level briefings.
• Coordinate with defense, government, intelligence, and industry stakeholders.
• Analyze developments in naval capabilities and maritime security.
• Handle classified information in accordance with security protocols.
