Job summary

YO AI Labs is seeking a Naval Subject Matter Expert (Cleared) for a remote, contract role to support high‑impact AI training and evaluation projects. You will apply operational and maritime experience to provide rigorous analysis, informed recommendations, and leadership‑level briefings.

Responsibilities include analyzing naval operations, coordinating with defense and government stakeholders, and handling classified information in accordance with security protocols.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in the U.S. Navy, maritime, or defense sector.
• Active TS/SCI clearance preferred; Secret clearance with TS/SCI eligibility may be considered.
• Experience briefing senior military or government leadership.
• Familiarity with Pentagon, OPNAV, NAVSEA, or PEO environments.
• Intelligence or Intelligence Community experience is a strong advantage.
• Master's degree in national security, defense studies, engineering, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert analysis of naval operations, platforms, and doctrine.
• Assess operational and program data to develop informed recommendations.
• Prepare concise assessments and leadership-level briefings.
