Job summary

Valkyrie Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Corrosion Control Project Manager on Oahu, Hawaii, to lead corrosion control and preservation efforts on naval ships.

You will supervise teams, ensure proper surface preparation, coating application, and safety, while maintaining NAVSEA compliance and environmental requirements. The role requires a bachelor’s degree (or 7+ years of corrosion control leadership), strong project management skills, and experience with NAVSEA operations and Microsoft Office

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field or 7+ years corrosion control leadership experience.
• Working knowledge of project management principles and risk/budget/schedule control.
• Experience with timekeeping, cost reporting, and material/equipment tracking.
• Proven leadership and technical background in shipyard/naval operations and NAVSEA guidelines.
• Proficient with MS Office and mobile devices (IPAD) for documentation.
• Ability to manage subcontractors/vendors and lead at-site operations.
• Strong communication skills for cross-team coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams in corrosion control and preservation on shipboard surfaces and structures.
• Ensure surface preparation and coating application per NAVSEA standards.
• Oversee de-brid decomposition, paint removal, and environmental compliance.
• Ensure tasks meet schedules, safety requirements, and quality inspections.
• Command timekeeping, daily task reporting, and data collection.
• Provide technical and administrative leadership to assigned tasks and subcontractors.
