Job summary

NSS is seeking Configuration Management Specialists (All Levels) to support on-site at the Washington Navy Yard, DC. This role focuses on controlling hardware inventory and software/hardware baselines while collaborating with the Configuration Control Board to implement robust release procedures.

Responsibilities

Take direct responsibility for complex configuration management issues associated with maintaining and controlling hardware inventory.
Control, audit, and organize official program documentation, product releases, and software/hardware configuration baselines.
Work with the Configuration Control Board (CCB) to define and implement structured procedures for releasing new products throughout the asset lifecycle.
Deliver expert change management guidance and strict product configuration management oversight to minimize technical debt and baseline drift.
