Job summary

Engineering Services Network (ESN) seeks a Principal Analyst in Norfolk, VA to support COMNAVAIRLANT with maintenance coordination across the Aircraft Carrier cycle. The role requires deep knowledge of Combat Systems and ability to coordinate with NAVSEA, NAVAIR, and shipyards.

The successful candidate will have afloat CVN experience, familiarity with C5I upgrades, and strong communication skills to produce concise reports and briefings.

Qualifications

• BS degree recommended; afloat service experience in CVN Combat System suites.
• Experience with Navy ships' Combat Systems and CVN operations.
• Experience with Tactical Air comm systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate maintenance support for COMNAVAIRLANT throughout the Aircraft Carrier maintenance cycle from deployment to home port.
• Attend Combat Systems Conferences and Shipyard Project Team meetings.
• Understand and troubleshoot CVN Combat Systems, apply corrective actions, and support modernization processes.
• Prepare status reports and interface diagrams as needed.
• Support availability planning, logistics, and reporting to CNAL N431.
