Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 7 years of experience required or an Associates Degree/2-year technical degree with 3 years of experience.
• Candidate should have proficiency in CAD design related to shipbuilding and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with interpreting engineering drawings and tolerances is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Designs components or portions of systems and modifies existing designs to develop or improve products and manufacturing processes.
• Utilizes CAD/CAM/CATIA tools to create layouts, sketches, and proposals and coordinates design criteria with engineering, manufacturing, tooling, materials, and planning teams.
