Job summary

Noblis MSD is seeking a technically proficient designer with CAD experience to translate sketches, wiring data, and components into accurate digital models, diagrams, and drawings for HM&E systems used in naval applications. Responsibilities include creating 2D/3D models, collaborating with engineers, and guiding drawings through the full lifecycle, including government approvals and GFI integration.

Must have 3+ years in engineering drawing and related tasks, and be USCitizen able to obtain

Qualifications

• + Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• + Minimum 3 years of experience in engineering drawing development and related design tasks.
• + Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe, and Microsoft Office; strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Create 2D and 3D models, schematics, and drawings for HM&E systems using AutoCAD.
• Review concepts with engineers and stakeholders and incorporate feedback.
• Advance drawing packages through lifecycle from layout to government approval.
• Incorporate Government Furnished Information (GFI) into drawings.
• Maintain configuration management, GD&T, and manufacturability standards.
