Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
• Associates Degree or 3+ Years of relevant experience in lieu of an Associate's Degree.
• 3+ years of experience with Structural Design, 3D Modeling and 2D Drawing development.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Experience working in the shipbuilding industry.
• Demonstrated proficiency of drafting methods, procedures and techniques.
• Must be able to work some overtime as required.
• Strong MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint Skills.
• Excellent Oral, Written and Presentation Skills.
• Strong Time Management and Organization Skills as an Independent Contributor.
• Demonstrated Interpersonal Skills as a member of a Collaborative multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Utilize ShipConstructor to develop 3D structural models and 2D drawings from functional drawings and redlines.
• Develop 3D foundations for equipment and 3D assembly drawings for primary structure and foundations.
• Collaborate with clients, naval architects and engineers to produce high-quality ship design products and drawings.
