TST Fab & Machine is seeking a CAD Designer/Detailer to support our Norfolk production team with shop drawings, layouts, and fabrication-ready designs for welding, cutting, machining, and assembly.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in technical drawing, proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD, and metal fabrication experience. This role is on-site at our Norfolk plant with competitive pay and a veteran-owned workplace.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience reading and creating technical drawings
• Proficiency with SolidWorks and AutoCAD
• Experience with Tru Tops Boost or similar CNC software
• Metal fabrication experience

Responsabilités

• Create and modify 2D and 3D CAD drawings for fabricated components
• Produce shop-ready fabrication drawings with weld symbols and materials
• Develop cut lists, BOMs and layouts as required
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers and fabricators
• Revise drawings based on field changes and feedback
• Maintain organized drawing files and revision control
• Identify design improvements to enhance fabrication
