Job summary

The M.C. Dean, Inc. Maritime Division seeks a skilled team member to support alteration installation on ships and submarines.

You will join a dedicated team performing cabling, equipment, and device installations in a mission-critical environment, with emphasis on quality workmanship. Travel to various U.S. shipyards and Navy ports is required; candidates must be eligible for a government background investigation and hold or be eligible for a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Vocational trade school or similar job requiring mechanical aptitude and skill.
• Secret Clearance Eligibility: 0-2 Years.
• Previous position requiring good hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.

Responsibilities

• Works with a team supporting cabling, equipment, and device installations.
• Learn to read and understand U.S. Navy ship installation drawings, diagrams, blueprints, and cable running sheets.
• Learn to use hand tools and test equipment
• Learn leadership skills
